My nearly 3 decades in the plant- related fields of Botany, Horticulture and Landscape Design come from a long appreciation and respect for our natural environment, the passion for creating intentional space, and the tranquility I receive by getting my hands in the dirt. I appreciate the dynamic nature of working with both people and plants and have an immense amount of pride in the landscapes that I have been able to be a part of enhancing in our community with SGL for over 20 years. When I’m not on the clock, you will find me on my yoga mat, in my vegan kitchen, or on a remote hiking trail that I will be keeping a secret.
Kayla Lamore
Hi! I’m Kayla. In 2021, I transitioned my 14-year career as an event florist to outdoor horticultural design. Since then I've received my Landscape Horticulture degree through Milwaukee Area Technical College and worked with hundreds of clients to perfect their outdoor spaces through maintenance and installations. My professional goals include creating landscapes that are experiential and sustainable for both humans and wildlife. I have a passion for our planet and attempt to integrate ecological best management practices into our work and native plants into residential and commercial landscapes. When I’m not doing something with plants, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my husband and our two cats, Morty and Myrtle.
Emily Limberg
Greetings, I’m Emily. Growing up on a hobby farm in the marshlands of Wisconsin inspired my love for integrating built and natural environments. Building on those roots, I earned a graduate degree in Sustainability, where I focused my research on Biophilic Design—creating spaces that connect people with nature. Today, I channel that passion into creating greenspaces that blend beauty, functionality, and ecological principles for residential and commercial settings. What I love most about my work is helping people form deeper connections with their local ecosystems through intentional landscape design. If you’re ready to create a stunning, sustainable outdoor space that supports wildlife and fosters a deeper connection with nature, I’d be happy to collaborate and bring your vision to life.
Ian Vierck
Hey there! I'm Ian, a landscape designer and sales manager at Schönheit. I’ve been going where plants, creativity, and ecology converge since childhood, as I explored the wonders of nature along the Ice Age Trail, sketching trees along the way. This lifelong passion has served as my compass, guiding me through an educational path that spans from Community and Urban Forestry to Landscape Architecture. I strive to create gardens that not only delight the eye but also nourish both the people who enjoy them and the ecosystems they inhabit. When I'm not immersed in designing landscapes, you'll often find me honing my skills in bonsai cultivation, traversing the Ice Age Trail, or channeling my creativity through making things.
