We are now accepting resumes for a Yard Assistant.  This position is part time with flexible hours.   

Job duties include, but are not limited to:  turning compost piles, moving bulk goods, unloading trucks (plants, bulkgoods, etc), spraying of weeds in our retail nursery, assisting customers in loading heavy materials into their cars, loading customers with bulk goods, organizing tools, and assisting our yard manager in day to day tasks as needed. 

All successful applicants must demonstrate the ability to be self-starting and be able to work independently by prioritizing their time and tasks.  They must be interested in problem solving and coming up with creative solutions to problems.  They must share a commitment to the highest standards in customer service, quality, and professionalism.   Applicants must be proficient in the use of machinery including skid steers, tractors, etc.  and comfortable operating all types of vehicles and trailers.  Some experience with small equipment maintenance is helpful.
